We really adored Michael's house on the lagoon! This is an utterly charming, modern beach house, well-stocked and simply, tastefully decorated, and right on the lagoon, looking out to the mountainside. We know Stinson well and had stayed previously in an oceanside house --which is great, too! --but we *loved the lagoon; being able to kayak and swim on a whim; the water is plenty warm and the place has boats aplenty. Loved chilling in the hot tub, heading to the beach or Mount Tam for sunset. We've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and rate this one as truly superior, in itself, but also an absolute bargain for how nice it is. Plus: Michael is a patient, super-responsive host. Love Stinson, loved the spot, loved the house; we cannot wait to return!

Amazing views to the ocean from the living room and kitchen. Very easy access to the beach. Design of home is such that accommodations are very privatie. With two older teens, it is important that each person have their own private space. Patio area very nice for dogs to hang out while people are resting in their respective rooms. The Seadrift area is wonderful for walking around the lagoon. This particular home is also walking distance to the town so you can get your steps in that way and teens can walk there on their own. We had a very peaceful time for three days. The kitchen has all you need for cooking. Michael was very responsive. Overall a great experience. Thank you.

So peaceful to look out the window from the living room and the primary bedroom. Lots of kayaks right there on the deck. Hot tub was wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay! I went with my parents and my kids (4 y.o. and one y.o.), and everyone quickly found their activities. The place is right on the water, close to the beach, has a super cozy house, and is in a nice neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

Michael was an incredible host—flexible, responsive, and communicative throughout our stay. The accommodation was perfect for a weekend getaway. Situated in a private community straddling Stinson Beach, the property offers a stunning setting: the soothing sound of ocean waves drifts into the living room from one side, while a serene, swimmable canal backed by a dramatic mountain backdrop lies just steps away.
The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved being able to paddleboard in the afternoon sun as it burned off the coastal fog. After a few inevitable tumbles, the hot tub was a welcome way to warm up and unwind. Evenings felt magical with a soft breeze from the patio, a cozy fire crackling in the fireplace, and chill music flowing through the impressive soundbar system. Beyond the property itself, the location was ideal—with quick access to the beach (just a five-minute drive), nearby hikes like the Dipsea Trail, and convenient grocery option all close by. Highly recommend.

There are few more perfect places to stay than this oasis. Every detail is true perfection! The quite road, the beautiful home, the immaculate bright interior design, and then the incredible hot tub overlooking the swimmable lagoon with views of the mountain! It was such an abundantly beautiful place to stay. I am still pinching myself that I got to call this home home for two nights. And Stinson Beach and Bolinas being a short drive away was wonderful. FYI - Coast Cafe in Bolinas has the best vegan tofu dish :). Mike was a fantastic host! I would love to return again and again!

Beautiful, peaceful location on lagoon, short walk to beach. House was extremely clean and light-filled, with appealing simple decor; well-stocked with cookware, kitchen utensils, dishes - everything we needed to prepare meals and eat in. Plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy nature, or kayak and paddleboard on the lagoon. Wonderful. Michael was a very attentive and responsive host. We look forward to coming back sometime!

This place is a GEM! We had an amazing stay. Very peaceful, serene and what gorgeous views!! We didn't feel like leaving the place and going anywhere else :)
Overall, the home was very clean, and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking (had access to kayaks and life jackets at home and there is also a nearby place where you can rent more if needed), and then soaking in the hot tub to relax.
Drove down to the beach, which you can access from within the gated community. It was absolutely amazing! The kids loved it and had lots of fun.
